It doesn't get much tougher than a Ford, and you don't get much more kiwi than Field Days. So when the opportunity arose to team up with the Ford NZ crew on their new 2017 Everest for this years show, well... you didn't need to twist our arms very hard at all.

This isn't to say that we don't thoroughly enjoy our travels around the country in our trusty 29 year old truck. But lets just say that we have become accustomed to the odd side-of-the-road TLC every now and then.

So when you toss an 2017 Ford Everest shaped carrot in front of us, we were already at full sprint. I mean, just look at the thing?!

Our shared goal was equip the Everest in a simple effective manner, so that any number of keen punters could grab the keys and head out into the wild. Having a vehicle already so proven in NZ conditions made things very easy for us all.

Now that the muddy paddocks of Field Days are behind us, the exciting stuff is starting to brew. Fingers crossed we will get tossed the keys, disappear and enjoy it ourselves... did someone say heated seats after a winter surf?
